Garden plaza with pathway, nine benches and nine trees to represent the Little Rock Nine, the first African American students to integrate Central High School in 1957. Two monumental arches mimic the architecture of the school building — the classical arches and four symbolic human figures. On the inside surface of each arch, a mirror finish stainless steel plate is printed with historical photos of events at the school.
